CHICAGO – US Cellular and its partner, King Street Wireless, will be introducing LTE technology on Monday in more than 30 markets.
The rollout is set to expand the cellco’s 4G footprint in select cities in Iowa, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. The companies also will introduce LTE coverage to some of US Cellular’s leading markets in Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
The next wave of market launches is expected to follow shortly in Knoxville, Tenn.; Medford, Oregon; Rockford, Ill.; and Yakima, Wash.
US Cellular inaugurated its LTE network last March this year, going live in select cities in Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
