Voyant Debuts Self-Service SIP Trunking

Voyant Communications has announced Voyant Trunking, a self-service pay-as-you-go SIP trunking offering.

Voyant Trunking connects to the Voyant Cloud, providing access to an on-net phone number footprint, and inbound and outbound voice services without contracts or term commitments. Businesses can use APIs and an administrative portal to quickly build a SIP trunk, assign phone numbers and start placing calls.

The Voyant Cloud originates and terminates over 90 percent of calls on-net, and supports over 8,500 on-net rate centers in 49 states, the company said. Its off-net reach offers access to more than 12,000 North American rate centers, including Canada and Puerto Rico, with international phone numbers available in 72 countries.

“Voyant Trunking provides the quality, self-service and simplistic pricing model today’s businesses are looking for from a Tier 1 carrier,” said Justin Nelson, president of Voyant. “Enabled by our robust and flexible Voyant Cloud, Voyant Trunking offers businesses industry leading quality, flexibility and scale to whatever call session levels a business customer needs. Buying telecom from a Tier 1 carrier doesn’t need to be hard. With Voyant Trunking businesses will find the APIs and portal they need to self-serve and a technical support team that understands their voice services when they need to reach out to talk with someone 24×7.”

Included with Voyant Trunking is a robust set of APIs that enables businesses to create SIP trunks, manage user accounts, provision phone numbers, port phone numbers, add advanced features such as e911 and access call detail records (CDRs).
