Voyant today announced the expansion of its leadership team. Brandon Robinson has been promoted to vice president of engineering, while Mary Tuten has joined as COO, Steve Milner as senior vice president of sales and Matt Wilson as vice president of channels and alliances.
These four executives have joined the Voyant management team to help build out the sales, operations and engineering teams responsible for helping SMB, mid-market and enterprise customers adopt its simple and intuitive business communication services.
These appointments come as part of Voyant’s strategy to accelerate the company’s growth in both the UCaaS and CPaaS markets.
“Brandon, Mary, Steve and Matt have the depth of experience needed to meet the growth needs of our sales, operations and engineering teams,” said Justin Nelson, Voyant president. “We’re thrilled to have them on the team and I look forward to them helping support our existing and future customers.”
The new hires joined Voyant from varying communication backgrounds and provide critical expertise to build and strengthen its relationships with customers and partners:
Brandon Robinson will drive the strategy and day-to-day management of Voyant’s voice engineering, data engineering and platform engineering teams. Brandon has been a longtime employee since 2004 and joined the organization via the company’s acquisition of Broadvox. He’s since held multiple product and engineering roles in both wholesale voice and UCaaS.
Mary Tuten brings over 25 years of successful operations experience and will drive Voyant’s customer experience strategy. Formerly at Bandwidth.com, Dash Carrier Services and HP, Mary has leveraged her industry knowledge to develop processes, KPIs and effective reporting structures.
Steve Milner will lead all revenue generating teams for Voyant. Steve is a seasoned sales veteran who has built and lead sales teams from start-up to large teams in the carrier, service provider and enterprise markets such as Comcast, Rackspace, Dialpad and Level 3.
Matt Wilson will focus on building Voyant’s partner program via master agents, direct agents and technology alliances. Matt has a solid record in the channel as well as supporting key areas of focus including wholesale, VoIP, UCaaS, SIP Trunking and 911. Matt comes to Voyant with a rich experience working with Cologix, Comcast Business, NGT, Level 3 and Intrado.
This announcement comes on the heels of recent milestones for Voyant. In August 2018, the company announced the acquisition of Phaxio, a cloud-based CPaaS provider of faxing services for developers and large enterprises. Additionally, earlier this year the company launched Voyant Trunking, a self-service pay-as-you-go SIP Trunking service, offering customers on-demand access to the industry’s largest on-net local phone number footprint with the industry’s high-quality of inbound and oubound voice services as well as API-based SMS and MMS services.
