French cybersecurity vendor Wallix has named Kristine Kirchner as its new vice president channel EMEA, tasked with recruiting MSSPs to its revamped partner program.
Wallix is a European privileged access management vendor that specializes in cybersecurity software and identity and access security solutions. It recently opened a new London office, which it says signals to the channel that it’s “a major European player.”
Founder and CEO Jean-Noël de Galzain said Kirchner will lead the vendor’s strategy of expanding its European footprint and “making cybersecurity more accessible to medium-sized organizations and SMEs.”
“The appointment of Kristine Kirchner as VP Channel EMEA marks our commitment to focus on the DNA of our model, namely the relationship with partners,” he said. “Together with her team, we plan to expand our partner program to include industrial cybersecurity specialists and managed and hosted service providers. This will enable us to strengthen our presence in sectors where cybersecurity issues are more essential than ever.”
Kirchner was previously responsible for the business development of Wallix’s Trustelem IDaas product offering. She will now be leading the Paris-HQ vendor’s 15-strong EMEA channel team.
“Our business partner program has the ambition to strengthen itself locally, to be as close as possible to the needs of each market while relying on a strong global development strategy,” Kirchner said. “My role will be to ensure this coordination at the global level in order to succeed in transposing local success models to the international level, with objectives by sector from now on.”
