Mobile network operator (MNO) Elisa and fellow Finnish company Nokia have announced they are partnering on a joint go-to-market alliance to drive industrial-grade private mobile network deployment.
Outlining their partnership, the vendor said the companies will collaborate closely on 5G private mobile offerings, utilizing new and existing radio network infrastructure to deploy “mission-critical, industrial-grade private networks” with Finnish businesses.
Nokia noted the collaboration will leverage the agreement that sees it continue its relationship with the MNO as strategic supply partner of 5G RAN nationwide, adding the partnership will focus initially on markets such as maritime and ports, mining, manufacturing, logistics and utilities.
