Webroot has announced a strategic agreement with Tech Data Corporation.
Tech Data is offering MSPs, solution providers and resellers in the U.S. the opportunity to license, deploy, and manage Webroot’s intelligent endpoint protection and real-time, collective threat intelligence to its customers.
Tech Data, one of the world’s largest IT distributors, is expanding its Tech Data Cloud portfolio with Webroot SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection with Global Site Manager through the company’s Cloud Solutions Store. Webroot’s Global Site Manager console gives MSPs and resellers a hierarchical view of the endpoints under their protection, allowing them to go from a global view of their customers down to group and individual user views. This enables MSPs and resellers to view in real time the number of devices deployed by each customer and whether those endpoints need attention.
“This partnership with Tech Data underscores Webroot’s commitment to the channel and MSP community and supports their desire for flexibility when purchasing Webroot solutions,” said Charles Tomeo, vice president of worldwide channel and technical sales at Webroot. “With such a significant increase in cybersecurity incidents, MSPs and businesses are ramping up Internet security efforts and are quickly adopting cloud-based next-generation endpoint protection products from Webroot to provide protection across multiple domains, devices, customers, and offices from a single, centralized console.”
“Webroot offers our channel of MSPs and solution providers an easy-to-deploy and highly effective endpoint protection,” added Stacy Nethercoat, vice president, Tech Data Cloud. “Along with Tech Data Cloud’s best-in-class team of cloud security experts, Webroot solutions provide lower operational costs and improved productivity. Their cloud-based approach benefits solution providers through competitive margins and a recurring revenue model that makes for a cost-effective global management experience.”
