Telarus Logs Record Attendance for Partner Summit

Telarus has set a new attendance record for its fifth annual partner summit in Deer Valley, Utah, for its fifth consecutive year.

Telarus Partner Summit is a three-day conference held each June at the Stein Eriksen Resort and features keynote and guest speakers who discuss the future of unified communications and other cloud-based services and the underlying networks that support it.  This year’s speakers included Todd Thibodeaux, president and CEO of CompTIA, and Captain Ron Fry, retired Green Beret and author of HammerHead Six.

“The fifth time is a charm,” said Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus. “We know it is a sacrifice for our guests to take almost a full week of work to spend with us here in Deer Valley, but we know the value of information they’ll take away will help their business grow in ways that other ‘generic’ conventions can’t. Now that we’ve completed the acquisition of VXSuite, a network and VoIP monitoring software platform, we have a unique tool our partners can use to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. Partner Summit is the ideal venue for this education and sharing of ideas. We can see what works, what doesn’t work, what the suppliers are saying, and mix it with actual big data to give our partners a roadmap to success.”

The 2016 Telarus Partner Summit includes more than 45 exhibitors, including the Exede (powered by ViaSat) technology trailer and an interactive hosted VoIP “lab” where partners could compare the interfaces and hardware of over seven different UCaaS providers. This year, attendees of the conference also saw the release of hosted PBX in GeoQuote, Telarus’ patented quoting platform partners use to find and price opportunities in real-time.

“Each year I come to this Summit thinking, ‘how are they going to top last year’s conference?’” added Mike Sickle, president of Dynamic Network Advisors and the No. 1 Telarus partner from 2015.  “The number of ideas that stem from this company, and this conference, is never-ending. Year in and year out they keep finding new and creative approaches to help us sell more and increase our base of reoccurring revenue.”

In addition to hosting educational forums to help educate their partners, Telarus also played host to the Women in the Channel, who held a meeting of its members on June 21. The conference concluded on June 24 with an awards ceremony where the top-selling partners and suppliers of 2015 were recognized.
