Master agency PlanetOne Communications has rewarded its top sales partners for 2013 with an inaugural “High Rollers” trip to the Napa Valley.
The five-star luxury tour of Napa Valley included private wine tastings, with an exclusive tasting with winemaker of the year Aaron Potts, Vineyard 29, Gargiuolo Vineyards and others, spa treatments, limousine service and what the company said were “once-in-a-lifetime culinary experiences set among the stunning vineyards of one of the world’s most beautiful locales.”
“My wife and I have been to wine country at least five times, and by far, this is the absolute best trip we’ve ever had,” said Darren DeMartino, managing partner of Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) and PlanetOne 2013 High Roller. “You could never duplicate the experience that we’ve had–it’s off the charts! Partners should do everything they can to make sure they’re here next year. If you don’t come, you’re crazy.”

One highlight for PlanetOne in bringing its partners to the wine country was the overall spirit of camaraderie. “Everyone said this was the trip you see in movies or on TV, that you always wish you could do one day,” said Lauren Shapiro, president at PlanetOne. “Over and over again, the phrase ‘once in a lifetime’ came up as our partners talked about the incredible week that we had, starting on the waterfront in San Francisco.”
Added Schuman, “The one question asked by all at our awards dinner was how are we possibly going to top our Napa Valley wine experience? All I can say is, we happily accept the challenge for 2015.”
