AGT Enhances Mobile Conferencing App

AGT has revamped its EncoreB2B mobile conferencing application, which connects a wide variety of video-enabled mobile devices with HD video conferencing systems, Web browsers and unified communications clients.

Originally released in 2011 and one of the first mobile apps to connect to existing video systems, the latest release showcases a complete redesign, including a sleeker interface and several new features and controls.  The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices, delivers dynamic content sharing, and is available for service providers to white-label and resell.

“We are continually focused on delivering a mobile video solution that delivers a high-quality, hassle-free video connection across multiple devices and networks,” said Todd Jacobson, vice president of product development at AGT. “Purpose-built for today’s mobile workforce, the latest EncoreB2B app takes the off-network video experience to the next level and delivers our partners customization that is unheard of in our market.”

Utilizing AGT’s unique firewall traversal technique – Mobile Pathway Protocol – EncoreB2B leverages already open and secure firewall ports to extend video communication beyond the traditional conference room to any location or device. The Mobile Pathway Protocol approach provides “device-enabled” firewall traversal on tablets and smartphones.

The EncoreB2B mobile video app is part of AGT’s video-as-a-service partner program, which allows service providers to add managed and cloud video conferencing services with full branding. AGT manages the entire application development process for service providers that want to sell their own branded version.
