The Alliance Partners, the channel partner industry organization that brings together agents, VARs, managed service providers, IT consultants and cloud specialists, is teaming with Convey Services to offer Alliance Engage, a new technology that links providers with Alliance members’ sales partner communities.
As the communications industry becomes more complex, providers are rolling out new service offerings at a rapid clip, making it difficult for channel partners to stay on top of the latest information. Alliance Engage offers improved interaction between providers and their indirect sales channels, and increased efficiency in getting information to the field, the companies said.
Alliance Engage offers providers a centralized online space to consolidate all provider content into a single location, making it easier and more convenient for the Alliance community and its sales partners to access and use. Providers can upload product literature, training, promotions, events, videos, Webinars and other information to the portal, and can provide links to other systems for quoting or administration. That same information is then duplicated on each individual Alliance member’s portal, becoming visible to subagents and other downstream partners.
“Alliance Engage is being used by Alliance members to provide a central destination for content, training, promotions and events that will be viewed by member agents,” said Carolyn Bradfield, CEO of Convey Services. “As a former owner of a conferencing company, I understand the frustration providers feel in trying to connect with the sub-agents that represent their services. Alliance Engage not only changes the way agents consume information, but it opens up opportunities to select from a wider product portfolio.”
Alliance Engage offers providers the opportunity to advertise on the home page of member sites and on the Alliance Engage hub.
Also, if a provider has an agreement with any of the 17 Alliance members, they can participate in Alliance Engage and increase their revenue through the Alliance’s Member-to- Member Commerce (M2MC) program. The M2MC initiative allows participants to utilize a direct supplier contract that another participating member may hold within its individual portfolio, thus driving additional scale and access to deals that would otherwise be lost.
“Alliance Engage helps providers connect with our members, their agents and direct sales teams, making it easier for them to consume information from a single, online location,” said Bill Power, CEO of the Alliance. “And, through our unique M2MC program, we offer our members access to more than 350 providers. This is a tool to increase provider visibility within our collective provider portfolio.”
