Avnet Technology Solutions has announced that its Avnet Services global business unit has been named an HP Learning Partner, and will offer partner training.
Avnet partners now have access to authorized HP ExpertOne certification training. These specialized courses will focus on the technical areas required to support the design, deployment, administration and management of HP server, storage, networking, data centers, virtualization, cloud and converged infrastructure environments. The courses will initially be offered in the U.S. and Canada through Avnet Academy, Avnet Services’ education and training organization.
“Avnet Academy continues to expand its portfolio and build on its reputation of empowering learners to excel in their professions with a wide range of specialized training,” said Matt Fox, vice president of Education Solutions, Avnet Services. “For HP solution providers, these training courses will bolster their knowledge of HP products and solutions, which play an essential role in increasing their profits and shortening sales cycles.”
Learners can choose from public instructor-led online courses, or schedule private classes to be delivered onsite. ExpertOne training from Avnet Academy will include a variety of new training activities that span the HP Enterprise Group portfolio, including those focused on servers, storage, networking and converged cloud. Specific courses include “Architecting HP Server Solutions,” “Building HP FlexFabric Data Centers,” “Designing HP SMB Storage Solutions” and more (as well as the soon-to-be-added “HP OneView”).
“Solution providers need easy access to the right enablement tools, training and certifications that are directly tied to their HP partner competency requirements,” said Steven Hagler, vice president, global partner enablement, HP. “As an HP Learning Partner, and in combination with all of the resources available through the HP ExpertOne program, Avnet enables HP solution providers to greatly enhance their skills, transforming technology into business solutions and ushering in the new style of IT.”
