Berkshire Partners LLC, a Boston-based investment firm, plans to acquire Masergy Communications.
Masergy offers hybrid networking, managed security and cloud communications solutions to medium and large enterprise customers, via channel partners. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, it is the largest independent managed services provider in the world, serving enterprise clients in over 75 countries.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
