CarrierSales Beefs Up Channel Advocacy Team

Utah-based master agency CarrierSales has recently added Brad Kunze and Brycen Carter to its channel advocacy team.

Former territory manager Brad Kunze of Southern California will become the director of channel sales of the Western Region; he brings with him more than 19 years of telecom experience, including his last eight years at AT&T where he spent time as an application engineer. Three, he concentrated on helping partners sell cybersecurity, cloud services, SDN, VoIP and integration services. He will work out of Orange County to provide deeper support to the partners in that region, but also extend his reach into the other western states.

In addition, CarrierSales has brought on Brycen Carter to take on the role of inside channel manager. Brycen will help assist the director of channel sales and vice president of sales to further drive relationships with sales partners across the country.

“We are delighted to add Brad and Brycen to help further drive our channel advocacy team,” said Richard Murray, president of CarrierSales. “Our support model is different than other master agents in our space. I’m very fond of saying we don’t want thousands of partners, we want good ones. By narrowing the list of those we work with, we can support partners at new levels they have never experienced before. Partners and providers are knocking down our door every day to work with us and I think that’s because the word in our industry has spread that we are a different breed from a support standpoint. I know Brad and Brycen will add to our growing success and truly be advocates for our sales partners across the nation.”

“We have experienced 133-percent increase in revenue over the last three years and the sales engine we have built is operating at full throttle,” added Ray Hicken, vice president of sales for CarrierSales. “I’m excited to further drive the sales strategy we have built by adding these resources to my team. I know that 2017 is not only going to be the best year for us, but also for our partners. In order to accomplish this, we needed to add resources to support our partners. I look forward to working closely with Brad and Brycen to ensure we continue to drive the business development plans with our partners going forward.”
