CompTIA is looking to help channel partners gain easier access to legal assistance through its InfoTech Law Advocates (ITLA) Legal Help Desk. The help desk is available to channel partners for a monthly fee (ranging from $49 for Basic or CompTIA Premier memberships or $99 for Pro) and is manned by licensed attorneys with experience in both business and regulatory issues to provide legal services that a channel partner may need on any given day.
Each subscription plan comes with electronic signature routing and legal document storage on the cloud. Pro and Premier plans come with extra services like Annual Risk Assessment Services, Annual Report Services and Annual Entity Compliance Services.
“The average agent, solution provider or MSP doesn’t have the resources to retain a dedicated attorney they trust to manage the growing legal needs of today’s IT and telecom service provider,” Dan Liutikas, managing attorney of ITLA and chief legal counsel for CompTIA, said in a statement.
“Our new ITLA Legal Help Desk removes the barriers and puts trusted legal services within reach of channel partners for a price that can’t be beat,” Liutikas claimed.
