CyberData Releases Connected Intercom

CyberData Corp has expanded its video two-way communication portfolio with a connected intercom.

The SIP-enabled Outdoor Video Intercom, available in a one-button and keypad version, are for secure access settings requiring video and two-way communication.

The IP-enabled intercom increases the security of any VoIP installation and can integrate seamlessly into diverse settings such as schools and universities, nursing care facilities, SMB and enterprise as well as retail stores. Additionally, the electronics within the intercoms are conformal-coated for environmental protection.

“At this point, and after so many years of doing this, our customers are savvier and more knowledgeable about SIP and PoE powered devices,” said Phil Lembo, President and CEO of CyberData. “They’re the ones that have consistently requested a high-quality SIP-enabled Outdoor Video Intercom. Video quality and performance were driving factors for us during development and we spent an extensive amount of time due to the requests from our customers. Of course there was also internal pressure to maintain our high quality standards but still offer a cost-competitive device. We’re very proud of the result and expect our customers will be very happy. We continue to focus on security, which is becoming increasingly important and our energies will be on delivering additional security related products throughout the year.”
