Dome9 Security has announced its channel program, the Dome9 Cloud Protection Partner Program, to meet the growing demand for the Dome9 Arc cloud security platform.
The program will be led by Jim Sortino, who was recently hired by Dome9 as vice president of worldwide sales and operations. The company also signed a key partnership agreement with Westcon-Comstor, a worldwide value-added distributor, to continue Dome9’s global expansion into the enterprise market.
The Dome9 Arc SaaS platform allows customers to simplify security operations and speed up compliance in their public and multi-cloud environments. Dome9 is a cloud orchestration solution that offers a full range of features and capabilities, from powerful security visualization and in-place remediation, to active enforcement and protection. The solution can be installed in a matter of minutes and requires no agents to be deployed.
Sortino is a technology industry veteran with more than 20 years selling network security solutions. Prior to joining Dome9, Jim oversaw the western operations at Trend Micro and was responsible for strategy and development of enterprise sales, field marketing and the channel. Most recently, Jim has held sales leadership positions at Application Security and Entrust.
“The customer base for public cloud services is shifting from early adopters and software developers who build and manage their own tools for security and analytics, to enterprises running mission-critical workloads,” said Sortino. “Enterprises are looking for managed services and platforms that they can use, especially in the security realm. This will create a massive business opportunity around providing enterprise-class managed services on top of one or more public cloud services catering to our customers.”
Dome9 is targeting AWS, Azure and GCP certified Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and resellers primarily in North America, as well as channel distributors in EMEA and ANZ, to join its Cloud Protection Partner Program.
