Zadara Storage has announced first of several Intel storage-as-a-service (STaaS) demo centers, to be opened in concert with cloud service providers and channel partners around the world.
The first is with cloud service provider consalco, in Munich, and allows customers and prospect to test and trial the Zadara Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) offering live, using their own unique configurations along with Intel Xeon processors and Intel SSDs. This makes it even easier for IT managers to consider how they might deploy Zadara Storage’s enterprise-grade storage-as-a-service powered by Intel either in the cloud, on-premises or in hybrid configurations – and to experience the enhanced privacy, performance and data protection features of the Zadara Storage Cloud, along with its scalability, elasticity and economic benefits. Other US-based Intel demo center news is forthcoming, the company said.
Zadara Storage supports migration to cloud services on-premises or off-premises either directly or through a variety of cloud service providers (CSPs). Zadara Storage provides enterprise-grade storage-as-a-service in any location (cloud, on-premises or hybrid configurations), supporting any data type (block, file and object) and connecting to any protocol (FC, iSCSI, iSER, NFS, CIFS, S3 and Swift).
“We are proud to launch the first demo center combining Zadara Storage and Intel solutions together with consalco,” said Dani Naor, vice president, international sales, at Zadara Storage. “In Germany, many companies are not familiar with the Storage-as-a-Service model. Having a physical demo center will allow visitors to experience the Zadara Storage solution first-hand and get answers to any of their questions. We will demonstrate in a practical setting how our solutions can help companies to concentrate on managing their businesses, rather than managing their storage.”
