G12 Communications has completed independent qualification of its SIP trunking products with Microsoft Lync 2013.
The milestone means that Microsoft’s Lync partners can recommend G12’s SIP trunking service as a compatible offering for cloud-based connectivity for voice, chat, video and conferencing.
“Lync is a powerful tool to help enterprise IT directors integrate an employee’s desktop experience with voice, video, and chat communications on any device, but only if they are working with a SIP trunking partner qualified to support Lync,” said Rick Coma, CEO of G12 Communications. “This qualification validates that our SIP Trunking service passed a comprehensive test plan covering every aspect of PSTN integration and call flow.”
BJ Haberkorn, director of Lync product management at Microsoft, added, “Working with a Lync 2013 qualified provider is the most efficient way for Microsoft partners to deploy Lync and allow their customers to maximize the return on the investment they’ve made in our platform. With this proven interoperability, G12 joins an exclusive number of SIP Trunking providers able to give partners the certainty in knowing they support all features and call flows.”
