Global Capacity has expanded its One Marketplace platform with a new point of presence (PoP) located in Equinix’s SE2 data center in Seattle.
Global Capacity’s Seattle PoP, located at at 2020 5th Ave., provides an additional interconnectivity point to One Marketplace, fortifying access to the platform throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as providing an international gateway to Canada and Asia.
One Marketplace provides bi-directional interconnection market for network buyers and sellers, enabling speeds scaling from 1.5Mbps to 10Gbps to support voice, data, storage and video applications. It offers real-time design, pricing and ordering for the wholesale market, with transparency into network pricing and visibility into available capacity across multiple access networks and technologies. As a procurement system, it also simplifies the ordering and provisioning of network services and tracks the performance for each circuit purchased all with a single SLA, service agreement and point of contact.
