GTT Communications has announced a reciprocal relationship with cloud networking service provider PLDT.
The arrangement allows PLDT to leverage GTT’s global Tier 1 IP network as well as its diverse suite of cloud networking services including Ethernet, VPLS and MPLS (IP VPN), to securely connect its multinational clients to the cloud-based applications. In addition to networking capabilities, GTT provides PLDT with managed services, including multilayered security services, and full network management and monitoring.
“Our partnership with GTT enables us to strengthen our capabilities in support of our enterprise customers, allowing them to leverage the cloud to create more avenues for business growth,” said FVP and head of PLDT ALPHA, Jovy Hernandez. “It is also reflective of our commitment to help enterprises broaden their perspectives and change the way they do business, by constantly looking for new opportunities to enhance their operational processes or connect with their market.”
Collaborating with PLDT allows GTT to increase its reach in the Philippines and Southeast Asia with IP, Ethernet and MPLS services. This enhanced presence aligns with GTT’s recent expansion in the region, including the addition of services at its node in Sydney, Australia.
