immixGroup, which helps technology companies do business with the government, was awarded a master agreement by the State of Utah to provide cloud solutions through the NASPO ValuePoint multi-state cooperative procurement program (contract number AR2496).
The master agreements, available to all 50 states, cover a full range of cloud solutions that help public entities quickly access the benefits of reliable and secure cloud services. NASPO ValuePoint is a top state and local government and education vehicle in the market.
immixGroup will initially provide infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) to state governments through its relationship with EMC/Virtustream. The Virtustream xStream enterprise cloud platform with intelligence application management software operates on a consumption-based billing model and includes features such as application and data security, deployment and application flexibility and unified communications and collaboration. Additional products will be added as immixGroup brings more vendors into the program.
With this win, immixGroup is now providing technology solutions through multiple state and local contracts and schedules, including Texas DIR and the California Multiple Award Schedule.
