Utah-based CarrierSales has been named the No. 1 master agent for inContact.
CarrierSales was the top master agency for the contact center specialist by new sales volume, or new monthly accrued technology (MAT), for 2014. It achieved this status by a notable margin as well: it was responsible for more than a quarter of all MAT sales by master agencies for January through December 2014.
“It’s been exciting to watch the success that CarrierSales has experienced as an inContact partner over the years,” said Ray Hicken, director of channel sales at inContact. “CarrierSales was one of the first master agents that we partnered with, and we have been aligned on growing together since day one. Their dedication to selling contact center solutions is evident by this terrific milestone. “
inContact offers core contact center infrastructure, workforce optimization plus telecommunications network services via the cloud.
According to Richard Murray, president of CarrierSales, inContact represents an important complement to the master agency’s telecom, mobility, cloud and data businesses.
“We are honored to be named the No. 1 master agent for inContact,” said Murray. “We were one of the first among our peers to roll out cloud and contact center services for partners to sell, and I think this award validates our ongoing commitment in those verticals. For us, inContact embodies the promise of the cloud for the growing contact center market, and we expect to continue our sales achievements with them for many years to come.”
CarrierSales plans to build upon its continued success with inContact over the course of 2015. It recently appointed inContact veteran Jon Heaps as channel chief for the organization, and one of his guiding initiatives for the year will be to broaden CarrierSales’ contact center focus.
“It’s a growing market that requires a consultative sale and offers a next-generation market opportunity for our agents, VARs and other partners,” Heaps said.
