Value-added IT distributor Intermedia is increasing its compensation structure for its Intermedia Advisors channel partner program.
Managed service provider partners and VARs can earn up to 66 percent more monthly recurring revenue for cloud based services,and commissions are guaranteed for the life of the account.. The company said that the new schedule is as follows:
- 8 percent commission on monthly recurring revenue for data services such as Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, and SecuriSync file sync and share (a 33 percent increase)
- 10 percent commission on monthly recurring revenue for Hosted PBX and other cloud voice services (a 66 percent increase)
- An additional $100 upfront payout for every Hosted PBX line sold for a limited time (after a promotional period, the upfront payout will be $25 per line)

Intermedia offers a variety of cloud IT services and business applications, including hosted Exchange, hosted PBX, SecuriSync file sync and share, e-mail archiving and other services, available via more than 14,000 MSPs and VARs. The program is split between private-label resellers and “advisors.” The company said that more than 60 percent of new business comes from its partner channel.
