Metalogix has announced that Nick Margarites has joined the company as CFO.
“Nick joins Metalogix as CFO at a strategic time in our growth trajectory since our successful sale to Permira Advisers last year,” said Steven Murphy, CEO of Metalogix. “Nick brings a wealth of financial infrastructure leadership and publicly traded company management and reporting experience to our company at a critical time in our evolution from a leading content management tools provider to the preeminent cloud content lifecycle management firm.”
Before joining Metalogix, Margarites held vice president of finance and chief accounting officer positions at Sourcefire, a network security firm in Columbia Md. During his tenure at Sourcefire, the company grew from $2 million to nearly $300 million through a successful IPO in 2007, and subsequent sale to Cisco in 2013. Prior to Sourcefire, he was controller of Paratek Microwave, a venture-backed wireless telecommunication company.
