NetApp Introduces Partner Sphere Program

NetApp, a leader in Flash and cloud data-centric software, launches its Partner Sphere Partner Program to solidify its commitment to driving a partner-first culture with an ecosystem of collaboration and innovation to capture a greater market share by growing Flash revenue, accelerating cloud adoption, and leveraging partner-led solutions and services.

Partner Sphere addresses the complex demands of today’s Flash and cloud customers while igniting the power of partnerships and serving as the foundation for NetApp’s partner strategy.

Program changes that will help achieve this include a unified engagement model where partners can sell-to, sell-through or sell with NetApp; new and more aligned solution competencies and services certified tracks; and updated tiering (Approved, Preferred, Prestige).

Additionally, partners will have opportunities to produce co-innovation and joint offerings with shared go-to-market strategies.

Partner-led services are a critical focus in Partner Sphere to help partners become trusted advisors to their customers, unlocking value and accelerating revenue growth through ongoing service engagements. The 11 Services Certified tracks enable partners to expand their services portfolio through as-a-service offerings, managed services, professional services and support services.

NetApp Partner Sphere helps partners accelerate their business through three distinct focus areas and 19 competencies in categories that are aligned below:

  • Hybrid Cloud – Flash with cloud-enabled hybrid multi-cloud, cyber resilience, monitoring and optimization, application optimization and XaaS
  • AI – Artificial intelligence and analytics as consumed through generative AI with Flash and cloud
  • Cloud – Hyperscaler and NetApp branded cloud services focused on cloud data modernization, cloud optimization and cloud application optimization

NetApp partners have completed more than 1,600 solution competencies and 1,100 services-certified tracks for tier advancement. Tiering provides a predictable path to progression as partners build specialized capabilities that help them increase their contributions across the NetApp portfolio. Competencies are aligned to NetApp sales plays for continuity and clarity.
