NetWolves Taps IBM/Tech Data Veteran as Enterprise VP

NetWolves has named Tech Data vet Laura Ellis as vice president of enterprise management services (EMS). In addition to EMS account management, Laura will be responsible for the service delivery, service assurance and technology teams.

“We are all very excited to have Laura join NetWolves. Laura’s focus on enhancing our relationships with our customers and partners, as well as her expansive professional experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow,” said Peter Castle, president and CEO at NetWolves.

Prior to joining NetWolves, Ellis served as client director for Tech Data, responsible for $200 million of IBM products and services in the U.S. and $1.2 billion globally. In this role, Laura focused on designing and executing business strategies to drive profitable growth through Tech Data’s VAR and partner channels. Before that, she had a long history at IBM with increasing leadership responsibilities including around cloud computing and server/storage management, and as the Central Florida territory executive.

Ellis also has served on the boards of the YMCA, the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and the CEO Council. She was a finalist for Tampa Bay Business Woman of the Year in 2011.

“NetWolves offers a unique business value in the design, implementation and management of client networks that is resonating in the marketplace,” Ellis said. “I’m delighted to join the NetWolves team to lead their customer initiatives and progressive expansion plans.”
