Telecom and IP distributor Novus LLC has added IntelePeer as a partner, and will resell its CoreCloud SIP trunking services, which are qualified for Microsoft Lync 2010 and 2013.
IntelePeer has earned qualification to provide turnkey SIP trunking solutions for Microsoft Lync 2010 and Microsoft Lync 2013 unified communications (UC) deployments, whether deployed on-premise, or through an application hoster.
The market for SIP trunks is growing exponentially as enterprises seek to improve reliability and lower the cost of communications services. SIP trunks allow for the elimination of costly IP-PSTN gateways, since they connect directly to the Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP). Further, SIP trunks enable voice, video and data to travel on one network, freeing enterprises from the cost and complexity of maintaining separate infrastructures.
“We are thrilled to partner with IntelePeer, a true innovator in this space,” said Chris Meehan, managing partner at Novus. “IntelePeer’s portfolio of SIP trunking solutions enables Novus to expand its network of resellers while addressing the immediate needs of its growing base of Microsoft partners selling Lync technologies.”
Novus is styling itself as a one-stop shop for Lync solutions, with IntelePeer as just the latest partner offering a Lync solution for the Novus portfolio. Novus’ Lync Enterprise Voice capabilities include IP phones, gateways, load balancers, headsets and now SIP trunks.
