NTouchTel announced a new reseller program to drive profitability for resellers by transitioning from a per-seat to a per-session pricing model. This shift allows resellers to scale operations with minimal overhead, presenting a more cost-effective choice when compared to traditional per-seat models.
With this per-session model, resellers pay only for the actual sessions required. For example, under a 15:1 user-to-session ratio, resellers can reduce cost while serving a larger user base. Traditional per-seat pricing models, meanwhile, often result in higher costs, especially for clients with low call volumes per user.
“Our goal is to deliver a competitive edge for resellers,” said Richard Nuckols, CEO, NTouchTel. “By offering a flexible, session-based model, we’re enabling resellers to meet client needs without the added cost burden that comes with per-seat pricing. It’s a win-win.”
Traditionally:
- 15 sessions equates to roughly 300 seats.
- 20 sessions equates to roughly 400 seats.
- 25 sessions equate to roughly 500 seats.
At a 20:1 user-to-session ratio, the reseller would need 75 sessions to support 1,500 users. With a per-session cost of $75, total cost is $5,625.This equates to just $3.75 per user, delivering significant cost savings. If the reseller increases to a 25:1 ratio, the sessions required drop to 60, reducing the total cost to $4,500, or $3 per user.
Key benefits of NTouchTel’s reseller program include:
- Cost-effective pricing, starting as low as $80 per session, with opportunities to reduce costs as volume grows.
- Scalability for expanding capacity without upfront hardware cost, allowing resellers to scale as their customer base increases.
- Compared to traditional per-seat models, resellers can offer competitive pricing and retain higher profit margins.
Compatibility that is designed to seamlessly integrate with multiple business applications to support resellers.
