NTT America Reports Big Growth for Channel Program

NTT America has announced that its Global Solutions Channel Partner Program has surpassed initial expectations by achieving 60 percent of the company’s total goal for secured channel partnerships ahead of schedule.

To date, NTT America has signed nine master agents from all regions of the country. Once the goal of 15 secured master agents is met, the primary objective of the Global Solutions Channel Partner Program will shift from solidifying new partnerships to strengthening existing relationships and empowering partners to create new business opportunities through the sale of NTT America’s entire suite of domestic and international ICT services.

As the portfolio rounds out, the NTT America channel team will further invest in the development, training and education of its channel partners to ensure sub-agents and VARs are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to secure new business opportunities, thhe company said.

NTT America is looking for long-term relationships with master agents throughout the U.S. that want to meet the technology needs of enterprises and mid-market organizations looking to expand their operations globally. Channel partners are capitalizing on enterprise adoption of cloud services by teaming up with global providers that offer innovative and competitive cloud solutions, such as NTT America’s SDN-based Enterprise Cloud.

“With combined experience of more than three decades in the channel industry, channel lead Rob Westervelt and senior director of strategy Kevin Goodman have strong track records with leading master agents,” said Jeffrey Bannister, executive vice president of sales for NTT America’s Global Enterprise Services Business Unit. “Their established relationships help NTT America expedite the contract process and quickly outfit channel partners with the ICT solutions, pre- and post-sales support, and strategic partnership experience they need to close deals.”

“As a trusted advocate to IT consultants, VARs, and MSPs, it’s important that we partner with experienced providers that offer a full suite of cloud, IP, data and managed services designed to meet customers’ technology needs,” added Ken Mercer, vice president of TBI. “The ICT assets of NTT Com, coupled with the organization’s global reach, qualified channel leadership and dependable support make the company an essential partner to TBI and those we advise.”
