OBT Anywhere, a private cloud services provider, has announced its first ever channel executive appointment in North America with the recruitment of Greg Plum as Vice President of Channel.
Plum has more than 17 years’ experience in the communications and IT industries where he has developed a reputation for successfully building channel programs from the ground up for organizations such as the Conference Group and StartMeeting, a division of FreeConferenceCall.com.
At OBT Anywhere, Plum will be responsible for assisting channel partners increase their revenue and market momentum based on the OBT Anywhere unified communications services which incorporate enterprise voice into Skype for Business and Office 365.
Immediately prior to joining OBT Anywhere, Plum founded PlumUC, a consultancy focused on providing customers and partners with unified communications and collaboration services and technology education to enable them to optimize their technology investments.
He previously served on the inaugural Telecom Advisory Council of CompTIA, where he had responsibility for helping ensure the organization became a leading resource for partners navigating the convergence of the IT and telecom channels.
OBT Anywhere has had a market presence in North America since 2012. During the past 18 months the company has seen an acceleration in demand for collaboration and hosted productivity solutions, driven by the need to constantly innovate and boost productivity.
