‘Quantum Ballerina’ to Keynote ACWConnect Live

The Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced Dr. Merritt Moore, lauded as the “Quantum Ballerina,” will deliver the keynote address at its ACWConnect Live! networking event in Las Vegas.

ACWConnect Live! takes place from 4-7 p.m., May 1, on the main stage, Level 2, Ballroom F at The Venetian. ACW will “Celebrate Your Sparkle” with programming focused on empowerment, self-discovery and authenticity.

Moore defies convention, pursuing and excelling in science and art careers. She is a quantum physicist with degrees from Harvard and Oxford and a professional ballet dancer performing with some of the most prestigious companies in the world, including Boston Ballet and English National Ballet.

During the pandemic, Moore combined her passions for computing and dance to program and dance with robots – a marriage of science and art that she has taken on tour worldwide. She is a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree and was selected as one of 12 candidates to compete on the BBC’s “Astronauts: Do You Have What It Takes?” reality show.

In her keynote address, Moore will share how she followed her dreams to realize her unconventional career path, how she’s risen to the top in two seemingly opposite pursuits and what lessons she can share for staying motivated and achieving peak performance.

The ACWConnect Live! event also will feature ACW’s signature networking reception and engaging programming, such as:

  • Welcoming remarks from ACW President Cassie Jeppson, Director of North America Channel Programs at Lenovo
  • Personal branding panel discussion with female channel leaders
  • Spotlight on ACW committee benefits and how to get more engaged
  • “Get real” conversations
  • Raffle prizes and more
