Relayware, a SaaS-based provider of partnering automation software, has announced that it has grown its customer base by 41 percent in the first three quarters.
New customers added include companies in Web security, Web conferencing, telecommunications, networking, and data storage and backup.
In September 2013, Relayware announced that it raised $5.5 million from Albion Ventures to fuel the company’s sales and marketing engine, hire key executives and expand its operations in the U.S. with a new office and new staff.
“One year later, the company is reporting that it has met or exceeded many of its business goals, such as strong customer growth, an upgraded platform and industry recognition for its innovative partnering automation solutions,” it said.
Along with the customers, Relayware has grown its employee base by 26 percent, including hiring Jim Somers as CMO and John Benecke as CFO. It also opened a new North American headquarters in Jersey City, N.J.
Overseas, it was the recipient of a UK government grant from the Technology Strategy Board in August, that it is using to expand its R&D and further enhance its Partner Cloud platform and business rules engine.
“Relayware’s strong momentum, including attracting top talent and developing innovative software solutions, is enabling the company to quickly scale and grow its customer base,” said Emil Gigov, Albion Ventures partner. “As a shareholder and board member, I am very pleased to see Relayware’s many accomplishments over the last 12 months, and look forward to continuing to work with the team to advance its strong leadership position.”
