SimpleSignal, which offers cloud-based unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) for business via channel partners, has received the RealPresence Environment Certification from video collaboration specialist Polycom.
“As part of our strategic partnership with Polycom, we feel this certification allows our channel managers to provide best in class service not only to our existing customers but also to our channel partners and their customers,” said Michael Sterl, executive vice president at SimpleSignal. “As we continue to improve SimpleSignal’s video-as-a-service (VaaS) offering, it is critical that all members of our team understand the interoperability of the Polycom RealPresence environment with our service.”
The RealPresence Environment Sales Track, presented by Polycom’s “University” division, provides an overview of the RealPresence environment including immersive telepresence, desktop and mobile applications, and the supported video endpoints.
Polycom University training can be deployed in a classroom setting, live online or as a self-paced online program. Each track for product-based courses provides a blend of both instructor lectures and presentations and hands-on exercises, the company explained.
Sterl and SimpleSignal channel managers Scott Davidson, Ira Feuerstein, Shannon Martin, Ryan McDowell and Jeff Sexton all completed the training.
