Smartsheet Enhances Partner Program

The next generation of Smartsheet Aligned has expanded incentives, new paths for market and industry specializations and more training and resources. Smartsheet partners will be recognized and rewarded better for their investments in providing customers with solutions and service.

Evolving since its 2019 launch, the program was built in partnership with and feedback from the company’s global partner base. The Smartsheet partner channel has realized 59 percent annualized growth every year since its launch. This impact combined with the growth of the collaborative work management market, the investments partners make in Smartsheet’s platform and the company’s customer-centric mindset is the foundation for this next chapter.

Smartsheet realizes partners play a critical role when it comes to delivering the right solution at the right scale for customers. Among the enhancements Smartsheet has implemented are:

  1. Custom role-based training and solution certifications – Upskilling the partner base is something Smartsheet wants to continuously improve and expand. Therefore, Smartsheet has created custom role-based training and solutions certifications designed for Smartsheet Aligned partners and their teams. Partners can deepen their knowledge to serve customers better in a variety of industries including health care, financial services or higher education, so the solutions they deliver are industry-specific and customized to meet their exact needs.
  2. World-class technical enablement resources – Smartsheet strives to set its customers up with the solutions they need to drive better outcomes. As they start to see initial success and realize the value the platform can provide, requests for increasingly complex solutions start to grow. That’s why Smartsheet has added access to technical enablement resources and sales experts available to help at any point of a customer’s journey. Partners have access to Smartsheet sales team members to include dedicated channel account managers, direct sales representatives, sales engineers, and product technical support resources. Furthermore, Smartsheet provides partners a path to escalated product technical support to ensure that their most difficult customer challenges are resolved in a timely manner.
  3. Marketing and demand generation resource center – Core to the new program is helping partners raise awareness of their business and drive net new opportunities at the push of a button. That’s why Smartsheet is launching a marketing center with pre-built assets to drive growth and build relationships. These additional marketing resources will help the channel community achieve more.
