TBI Leader Promoted; Sangoma Added to Portfolio

TBI, a technology services distributor, promoted Adam Knudsen to Senior Vice President of Sales Operations. In this role, he will continue to lead the sales operations department and focus on partner satisfaction, customer retention and the organization’s growth.

Knudsen started at TBI in 2012 as an Inside Telecom Sales Account Manager. After proving to be a top performer within his first few months, Knudsen was given more responsibility and was promoted to Partner Experience Manager.

This trend stayed consistent as he was promoted to Manager of Sales Operations at the beginning of 2013, Director of National Channel Sales at the end of 2013, Director of Emerging Technologies in 2015, Senior Director of Operations in 2016, and Vice President of Sales Operations in 2018. Some of his responsibilities while in these roles included leading TBI’s national Channel sales, creating and implementing strategies for new and emerging technology suppliers, and also, managing and leading TBI’s operations and support teams.

Prior to joining TBI, Knudsen served as a Project Manager for the engineering consulting firm, Terracon, from 2010-2011. From 2011-2013, Knudsen pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bellevue University, graduating in August of 2013.

In his new role, Knudsen will continue strengthening the organization by leading its operations and sales support departments. Some of his responsibilities will include leading the organization’s operations strategy, along with identifying and implementing operational processes and procedures to improve organizational efficiencies.

In other news, TBI has added Sangoma to its supplier portfolio. Sangoma is recognized as a global leader in business and unified communications (UC) solutions. Offering a large set of cloud communications services, Sangoma deploys millions of UC seats.

Sangoma’s UC solution is ideal for brick-and-mortar businesses that desire an end-to-end business communications solution to communicate with their customers.
