TD SYNNEX, a global distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem, expanded its exclusive distribution agreement with Broadcom, covering cybersecurity and software offerings throughout the Americas.
Under the agreement, TD SYNNEX will own the complete go-to-market strategy and customer relationships for Broadcom’s Symantec and Carbon Black portfolios in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), as well as North America, (excluding U.S. state and local government and education accounts). This move is expected to help streamline the purchasing process and enhance regional support for both product portfolios.
The Americas expansions is part of Broadcom’s new Catalyst initiative, which leverages regional distributors to provide enhanced customer support and increased collaboration with Broadcom’s enterprise security group.
“Expanding our support of Broadcom’s Symantec and Carbon Black offerings in our vast portfolio of cybersecurity solutions in North America builds on our commitment to providing best-in-class cybersecurity solutions to our partners,” said Mike Heintzelman, SVP, vendor solutions, North America, TD SYNNEX. “We know from our 2023 Direction of Technology report that cybersecurity is a top priority for partners, with 46 percent saying they want to add security offerings to their portfolio in the next two years. Expanding our support is one of the ways we provide our partners with the resources and expertise they need to deliver in-demand solutions to their customers and address ever-changing security challenges.”
Additionally, TD SYNNEX in LAC will be the sole distributor of Broadcom’s CA Technologies software solutions for the enterprise and mainframe segments. These additions build on a previous agreement between TD SYNNEX and Broadcom that made TD SYNNEX in LAC the exclusive distributor of Symantec cybersecurity solutions.
“Expanding our Broadcom Aggregator offerings to include Carbon Black and CA Technologies solutions across Latin America enables us to leverage our local market knowledge and connect partners with the right solutions for their business,” said Marcos Murata, VP, vendor management and business strategy, LAC, TD SYNNEX. “We are proud of the work we’ve done with Broadcom’s Symantec offerings and look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with Broadcom through this new agreement.”
