Tech Valley Communications (TVC), a facilities-based telecommunications service provider operating networks in Upstate New York and Northern New England with connectivity to Canada, has shortened the provisioning time for Ethernet and wavelength services to 10 days.
The window applies to point-to-point circuits at on-net locations on the TVC network.
“Often, customers are forced to wait weeks or months for high-bandwidth services from other providers,” said Kevin O’Connor, president and CEO at TVC. “Knowing that our customers operate at light speed, the ‘10 Gigs in 10 Days’ initiative demonstrates that Tech Valley Communications can keep pace.”
He added, “Being able to respond to customer demand with the fastest installation intervals in this region provides our clients with quick access to the bandwidth they need, when they need it, and that is what Tech Valley is all about.”
TVC, which sells via channel partners, said that it is capable of supporting data speeds up to 10 billion bits per second. It also provides Internet access, voice, virtual PBX and colocation services.
