As part of its continued national expansion, Telesystem has appointed Matt Mishler as regional channel manager in the northern Midwest.
Mishler has been with Telesystem for more than 20 years as a national account manager, based out of Telesystem’s Toledo, Ohio headquarters. In his new role, he will serve as a local resource for partners spanning Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and western Pennsylvania.
Telesystem’s agent program is designed to create contractual relationships with strategically oriented national master agents, then to have regional channel managers in targeted geographical areas work to support the sales activities of partners in their region.
“Telesystem prides ourselves on our consultative approach to channel sales,” said Bruce Wirt, Telesystem vice president of channel sales. “Our secure internet-as-a-service product lends itself to very large applications that involve a high level of customization and partner education, and Matt is a perfect fit for this model. I am very excited to welcome him to my team.”
Throughout his tenure with Telesystem’s direct team, Mishler has focused on education and healthcare verticals both in a sales role and as a volunteer for a variety of different boards, including Focus Federal Credit Union, Toledo Public Schools, Owens Community College Foundation and Christ the King School Advisory Council.
“From Telesystem’s beginning, I have been part of the team that has helped evolve the business to where it is today,” said Mishler. “I am excited about helping Telesystem continue to grow our national presence through the partner channel.”
