TPx Adds Mark Steinberg to Channel Management Team

TPx has added Mark Steinberg to its fast-growing team of national channel managers. Based in Branford, Connecticut, Steinberg will support TPx channel partners in Connecticut and New York City.

Steinberg brings more than 30 years of industry experience and has worked in the channel for nearly 15 years. Prior to joining TPx, he served in sales and channel management roles at PGi, PanTerra Networks, DSL.net and Global Crossing (now CenturyLink).

“When speaking to partners about potential candidates to lead our channel efforts in the Connecticut market, time after time Mark’s name was at the top of list,” said John Lepore, Director, Channel Sales at TPx. “After my first meeting with Mark, the reason became crystal clear. His vast industry knowledge, experience and most of all his unparalleled talent for developing partner relationships will undoubtedly lead to growth and great success in the region. We’re really excited to have him on our team.”

Steinberg intends to leverage his existing partner relationships to establish a strong foothold in his territory and recruit new partners who aren’t as familiar with TPx’s award-winning product portfolio and channel-friendly reputation.

“I sold my first phone system in 1982 when I was 10 years old,” said Steinberg. “I’ve been around the business a long time and I’ve seen how dramatic industry changes like we’re going through now can quickly winnow out companies and channel partners who don’t understand them. TPx not only gets the transformative benefits that a comprehensive, integrated set of managed services has for customers – they are leading the way with an unmatched set of proven solutions and an amazingly true focus on channel success. Partners in the region who aren’t familiar with TPx, its history of channel leadership, national reach, technical excellence and great support systems are really going to like working with the company. This was an easy move for me.”

TPx continues to aggressively expand its national channel presence and now employs three dozen channel managers across the country who assist the many thousands of partners selling its leading portfolio of unified communications, managed IT and managed security services.
