Utility Telecom Announces Updates to Accession Mobile UI

This post was sponsored by Utility Telecom, a leading provider of VoIP telephone systems and internet services to businesses and organizations all over California and Nevada.

Today’s dispersed teams can make it difficult for a company to be on the same page at all times. To combat this and keep teams connected, Utility Telecom proudly partners with MetaSwitch to offer unifying programs like Accession Meeting, Communicator, and Mobile.

The Accession Mobile application enables users to utilize their personal phones for business needs. With the app, users can make and receive calls from their corporate phone number and stay connected to their team through the instant messaging feature.

To keep the Accession Mobile up-to-date in design, MetaSwitch has announced the redesign of the applications user interface (UI). This redesign will upgrade the look and feel of the app significantly as V2.28 will feature a more sleek design and an improved user experience. All existing functions of the app will remain unchanged.

The redesign will focus on single screen access for a quicker and more user-friendly experience. Accession Mobile users will be able to access contact lists more easily and will be able to access secondary actions like the keypad, voicemail, and faxes from the main phone tab.

The update is tentatively scheduled to go live this month and the update will directly impact Accession Mobile users, as V2.28 will no longer support the old UI. Customers using Accession Mobile on Android or iOS will be affected when they upgrade.
