California Telecom has partnered with Versa Networks to deliver customers a secure, flexible and customizable managed SD-WAN experience.
California Telecom will now offer a wide selection of SD-WAN options for organizations of all sizes, from monitoring to complete outsourcing with its managed edge-router service. This will complement the company’s existing high speed, high capacity internet access and services.
California Telecom has integrated Versa’s Secure Cloud IP platform into its existing infrastructure, which enables the company to provide customers with a broad range of features and options through a multi-tiered service offering anything from a basic failover all the way to a hybrid MPLS and cloud SD-WAN with unified threat management integration.
“We spent over a year looking for a SD-WAN platform we could integrate into our existing MPLS infrastructure that could offer all the features that were being promoted in the industry,” said Jim Gurol, CEO at California Telecom. “After trying multiple solutions, we found the one vendor that has it all, Versa Networks. The architecture closely paired with our existing infrastructure, so we are immediately able to go to market. California Telecom customers will benefit from appliance consolidation and easier management of the WAN edge and cloud perimeter. With Versa, all solutions will sit on a single appliance, while California Telecom’s backend control, management and analytics infrastructure will automate and provision the service. Customers will enjoy an easy-to-use portal to simplify change management, provisioning and reporting. Versa’s native analytics for networking and security provides California Telecom a multi-faceted view of any malicious activity down to the application, user and workstation level. Customers are able to access this from the customer portal, a simple graphical portal view and drilldown, enabling California Telecom customers the power to maintain and have deep visibility into security within their organization with or without intervention.
