Tech Valley Communications (TVC) has received the New York State Public Service Commission’s (NYSPSC) Excellent Service Commendation for the ninth consecutive year. The commendation notes TVC’s excellent level of service the company and its employees have provided during 2012.

The NYSPSC has been recognizing local exchange carriers since 1988 for excellent service that is based on a providers’ performance in relation to service quality standards it has established. The criteria used to grant a commendation for excellent service includes an evaluation of customer trouble report rates, and are based on the low number of consumer complaints received by the Commission.
