GoTo Adds New Grasshopper Virtual Phone Features

GoTo, which provides cloud communications and IT solutions, added new features to its Grasshopper virtual phone system. The updates are designed to empower small business owners to more quickly find information, respond to customers and elevate customer interactions with smart conversation filters, global search capabilities and enhanced call-management tools.

“For small business owners, first impressions are everything. With these new features, Grasshopper is giving businesses the tools to improve their communication from the start and build stronger, lasting relationships with their customers,” said Scott Manning, GM, Grasshopper. “Grasshopper’s latest updates ensure businesses not only communicate more effectively but also present themselves with professionalism and take greater control of their growth. We remain steadfast in our mission to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners with a communications solution that is built, priced and packaged specifically for them.”

In particular, Grasshopper’s new unified Conversations view makes staying on top of customer interactions easier by consolidating calls, texts, voicemails and faxes into a single thread. The new features help businesses stay organized, save time and deliver exceptional service. Particular capabilities include:

  • Seeing all interactions in one view, bringing all interaction types into a unified thread that includes calls, texts, voicemails and faxes. This is available on mobile and will come soon to desktop applications.
  • More quickly find specific interactions, using smart conversation to filter by interaction type to quickly locate calls, texts, voicemails or virtual faxes, all organized in a single, streamlined interface for each contact on mobile and coming soon to desktop applications.
  • More quickly respond to customers, using Global Search to help businesses find what they need, scanning the account for relevant details while helping to respond faster to customer questions.
  • Keeping business and personal contacts separate.
  • Accessing professional call features
  • Employing partnerships tools.
