Illumio Enters Distribution Agreement with Radius Channels

Zero trust segmentation company Illumio partnered with next-gen distributor Radius Channels for a new distribution agreement in the U.S. and Canada. This deal will form a key part of Illumio’s channel go-to-market strategy; the companies will work together to drive partner recruitment, engagement and enablement, accelerating go-to-market momentum and ZTS adoption across the region.

The collaboration underscores Illumio’s commitment to being partner-first, and meets the needs of U.S. and Canada MSP and reseller partners that see increased demand for microsegmentation solutions. Partners working with Radius Channels will have access to the Illumio ZTS Platform for breach containment. Illumio ZTS prevents breaches from spreading across cloud, endpoints and data centers by continually visualizing how workloads and devices communicate, creating granular policies that allow only wanted and necessary communication and automatically isolating breaches.

“We’re very excited about this partnership with Illumio,” said Radius Channels CEO, Howard Goldberg. “Cybersecurity is increasingly complex, and the attack surface is constantly evolving, so partnerships are crucial. With the addition of Illumio to our vendor portfolio, we’re now armed with offerings from the only pure-play provider of Zero Trust Segmentation.  And we can empower our channel partners with even more robust and impactful solutions for their customers.”

“As demand for Zero Trust Segmentation soars, it’s imperative we have an ecosystem of partners that understands the technology, its role in a Zero Trust framework, and can implement and integrate it into customers’ environments,” said Todd Palmer, SVP, global partner sales and alliances, Illumio. “We needed a distribution partner that delivers value added services and Radius Channels’ reputation, pedigree and unique high-touch, white-glove support model, made them the obvious choice.”

Illumio continues to double down on its go-to-market activities as it seeks to build out its commercial sales organization and make micro-segementation more accessible to midmarket businesses.

“The microsegmentation market is maturing rapidly and in response we need to move towards a more volume-based business model,” added Palmer. “Partners already recognize the market opportunity and are actively building segmentation offerings into their portfolio. Distribution provides the support and scale we need to deliver an end-to-end partner success model and execute on our commitment to being a 100% partner-led business.”
