Windstream has sold its EarthLink consumer internet business to Trive Capital for $330 million.
The consumer internet business offers internet access, online backup, managed web design, web hosting and email services to over 600,000 customers throughout the U.S. Windstream has owned it since acquiring EarthLink in 2017.
In other news, Windstream president and CEO Tony Thomas will speak at the Citi 2019 TMT West conference in Las Vegas on January 8 at 10:15 a.m. This event will be streamed live at investor.windstream.com, and archived for 90 days.
