Sandler Partners’ Commissions Integrity Program, which audits commissions and SPIF payments for its partners, has directly recovered more than $3 million so far for agents.
The program was introduced in January 2013, in response to the practice of master agencies requiring agents to report missing commissions and SPIFs for remediation. Instead, Sandler Partners proactively audits commission and SPIF payments on behalf of its partners.
“Congrats to our commissions team for reaching this milestone,” said Curt Allen, president of channel for Sandler Partners. “The impact of this program across our base of agent partners speaks to just how widespread compensation errors are in our space. More than 70 percent of our partners have received true-ups, and virtually all of our partners have benefited from system-wide errors caught and corrected in our proactive audits.”
“I could not be more proud of our team,” added Drew Kenworthy, director of finance for Sandler Partners. “They’ve made this program a priority and have kept pace with our company’s rapid growth, auditing more payments for more agent partners from more providers. They’ve recovered a million dollars for our partners in just the past 12 months.”
Sandler Partners continues to expand its commissions team in order to maintain its commissions reviews across the company’s base of more than 5,000 agent partners and 200+ providers of connectivity, cloud and advanced services.
“We’re expanding our team to make sure we’ve always got our partners’ backs,” said Allen. “We want to free them up to do what they do best. Providing commissions and SPIF tracking and reconciliation takes on one of the most prevalent headaches IT consultants, independent agents, MSPs and VARs face – making sure they are fully paid for their efforts.”
