Spectrotel Receives PCI DSS 3.2 Certification

Spectrotel has earned the latest requirements for PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) 3.2 compliance.

PCI DSS 3.2  compliance requirements are stringent and include:

  • Multi-factor authentication: the use of more controls than username and password combinations alone to protect sensitive data environments.
  • Increased frequency of penetration testing: service providers must test IT systems every six months to detect potential data security vulnerabilities.
  • Increased employee assessment: service providers must perform quarterly reviews to confirm that employees are following security policies and operational procedures.
  • Thea ability to track and monitor all access to network resources and cardholder data; use of Syslogs, event logs and alerting.

With data breaches and cyber threats on the rise, security is of the highest priority for most organizations.

Spectrotel’s PCI DSS 3.2 certification guarantees customers a secure environment for processing and transmitting credit card information.
