IBM announced that it is bringing its channel program – which is designed to support U.S. partners in reselling IBM Software on the AWS Marketplace – has now been extended to select countries in the EMEA region.
With this news, IBM expects to scale partner adoption, helping improve client access to critical software while helping leverage the purchasing platform of choice. IBM’s hybrid and open approach extends through the purchase cycle, allowing customers to leverage AWS consumption commitments.
Clients working with IBM partners are able to drive better efficiency through the AWS Marketplace procurement process, getting up and running in an expedited manner with the help of partners. Meanwhile, IBM partners are benefitting from access to a new client base, accelerating deal cycles and removing friction from the sales process.
IBM is now extending the program to the U.K., Germany, France and Denmark.
This helps in unlocking collaboration between a hyperscaler, resellers and IBM, for the benefit of clients, while also creating additional partner opportunity for supporting clients along their hybrid cloud and AI journeys.
