Master agent Telegration has teamed up with Challenge Detroit to participate in its Fellows Program.
Challenge Detroit is a leadership and professional development program that invites approximately 30 young people to “live, work, play, and give in and around the greater Detroit area” for one year. Telegration will select one fellow to join the company as a marketing coordinator. The fellow will report to the vice president of sales and marketing and will serve as a member of the marketing department.
“Our goal is to have this individual gain experience in surveying projects associated with direct and indirect sales channels, develop a community and public relations strategy, as well as develop marketing partnerships with associations, “ said Telegration vice president of sales and marketing, Jeremi Hunter. “To be able to mentor a young individual and create a career path for them is something the executive management team strongly believes in.”
Michigan – particularly the Greater Detroit region – has experienced a significant loss of young talent over the past several years as they migrate to nearby metropolitan cities like Chicago and Minneapolis.
“By uniting a group of innovative, entrepreneurial thinkers, Challenge Detroit takes a significant step toward energizing our city’s creative and professional core,” the company said. “The goals of Challenge Detroit are simple but ambitious. By bringing tomorrow’s leaders together to experience Detroit for a year, we will jump start a very important initiative: to attract and retain a creative and professional class in the city.”
